Paws Creek Golf Tournament

The 2nd Annual Paws Creek Classic Golf Tournament returned on Saturday, May 20 at the Oso Creek Golf Course and was a huge success. Animal Control Officers Nick Ross and David Lim, as well as one of our longest residents, Korra, took part in this year's event. Korra also had the opportunity to spend time on the green and greet almost everyone. Additional Animal Services staff were on hand to assist and provide information about the center’s programs and services.

"This year, our very own City of Mission Viejo team crept up on the competition, moving up two positions in the standings from last year," Officer Nick Ross stated. "This is an event we all look forward to," he added, "and we saw a lot of familiar faces from last year." Everyone seemed to be on top of their game, and you could see smiles and hear cheers everywhere you turned at this event."

Mission Viejo Animal Services (MVAS) thanks everyone who participated and contributed to an event that is such a great cause while also having a great time.

This event benefits animals like Korra at MVAS. Korra is an active, goofy and very curious girl who is friendly with everyone she meets. Korra is still available for adoption and if you are interested in adopting Korra, please visit Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest.
