Sevice mini horses Freedom and Lucky drew a crowd at the 17th Annual DAWG Walk and Pet Faire. And now you know why, as these two are so sweet and gentle, even with the little ones, who had the opportunity to enjoy a ride.

Little dog Dancer came to the shelter so ravaged by a skin infection that he had very little hair anywhere on his body . Each week, with great medical care, he began to look and feel better. But still no one came foward to adopt him.

Meatball is a special English Bulldog who came to the shelter in 2009 with a severe case of mange and infected eyes. With proper care and eye surgery, Meatball has become quite the handsome boy. He was adopted by Alex, who has taken extraordinary care of him. Alex and Meatball come to the DAWG Walk every year, and we are looking forward to another opportunity to be on the receiving end of a big sloppy kiss from Meatball this year!
