Volunteers are jumping for joy! Long time shelter volunteer, Sandy, has adopted our two little shy pups, we called Darren and Tabitha. Found in a trash dumpster, these little guys came to us terrified. Little by little through our gentle handling and encouraging words, these pups began to trust.

Gryffindor and Midge kitties have something in common. Both benefited from the shelter's new Guardian Program. Shelter volunteers can donate by paying all or part of the adoption fees for cats that have been with the shelter for awhile to help them get more attention and ultimately a new home.

Looking for a dog that would love to cuddle and be a real lap dog, Cupcake filled the bill perfectly. When Cupcake first arrived at the shelter he was shy but gradually he learned how much fun the volunteers could be and began to come out of his shell.
